VOLTA DEVELOPMENT FORUM: WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE STAND FOR
We the People of the Volta Region, having come thus far in our history as a Region within the Republic of Ghana, recognize that the task of developing and securing the peace and prosperity of the Region is a complex undertaking.
Successive Governments may continue to do their bit. However, we as Sons and Daughters of the Region also must intensify our efforts towards creating the kind of Region that we seek: a Region abounding in opportunity and jobs;
A Region with significant educational and health infrastructure, a Region where social amenities and interventions are widely available; a Region of robust industrial development;
Above all we are a Region that gets her equitable portion of the National Cake, where the people live in peace — a Region on the move, partnering in developing the nation Ghana.

OUR VISION & MISSION
Our Vision is of a peaceful Volta Region with Sons and Daughters achieving success in their chosen vocations; a Region whose natural endowments, human resources and multiplicity of assets are innovatively harnessed and deployed towards the creation and sustenance of a prosperous Region and People; a Region always on the move, noted for pride of place among the Comity of Regions of Ghana.
Our mission is to create and champion development frameworks and opportunities for Sons and Daughters of the Volta Region, to secure the socio-economic prosperity and peace for current and future generations
To this end, we have adopted the following guideposts to drive our development framework:

- To promote the economic and social well-being of all Sons and Daughters of the Volta Region
- To optimize development of Volta’s human resources, targeting Regional economic prosperity
- To ensure security and protection of investments by Sons and Daughters of the Volta Region
- To promote harmonious collaboration between Volta Development Forum and the Public Sector, to eliminate duplication of effort and ensure unified focus on Regional development
- To champion transformation of Volta Region into a premier and world-class tour destination
- To brand, package and market Volta Region’s rich cultural heritage to Ghana and the World
- To promote peaceful co-existence among Sons and Daughters of Volta, mitso Denyigba deka!
