We the People of the Volta Region, having come thus far in our history as a Region within the Republic of Ghana, recognize that the task of developing and securing the peace and prosperity of the Region is a complex undertaking.

Successive Governments may continue to do their bit. However, we as Sons and Daughters of the Region also must intensify our efforts towards creating the kind of Region that we seek: a Region abounding in opportunity and jobs;

A Region with significant educational and health infrastructure, a Region where social amenities and interventions are widely available; a Region of robust industrial development; 

Above all we are a Region that gets her equitable portion of the National Cake, where the people live in peace — a Region on the move, partnering in developing the nation Ghana.
